the brilliant green - Ash Like Snow Jrock | Japanese | 9/10 Comments: Led by frontwoman, Tomoko Kawase, the brilliant green is a favorite jrock group of mine. This particular song is my ultimate favorite because it incorporates all sorts of fun gutair. The lyrics are really good especially towards the end of the song where they are in English. iM - Be My 1004 [Ft. Narcia of Brown Eyed Girls] Kpop | Korean | 10/10 Comments: iM is a unknown group that I really like. This song is my ultimate favorite from them although it is kind of old. The song incorporates fun instruments and beats, beat box and nice vocals. The English that is thrown in adds a flair to the song. You'll have it stuck it our head. There is a reason as to why it's Be My 1004. 1004 in the Korean Language sounds the same as the word for "angel". So after reading it, it means Be My Angel. Clever isn't it? Download /

Big Bang - Heaven Kpop | Korean | 9.5/10 Comments: This was my second favorite song on their newest minialbum. It starts with a lone violin and evolves into an infectious beat and fun "lalala". The vocals are very well done, even better than in Haru Haru. The vocals are well controlled. It changes tempo several times which adds to the fun and catchiness of this song. The rapping is excellent. Download /

TRAX - Embrace One's Soul Ballad | Korean | 8/10 Comments: The TRAX is a korean band under contract with SM entertainment. They normal do rock but this ballad made me wish they did ballads more often. The vocals are nice yet emotional. Instrumentally, they are nice with soft piano and drums. The only thing is that the song can be a bit boring at the beginning and if you aren't in the mood for ballads. Once the gutairs start though, it becomes very good. Download /

Xing - In My Hands Ballad | Korean | 8/10 Comments: This entire song makes me think of a wedding. It hs a sweet opening with lyrics that are touching. It's a really good song for a walk. The lyrics are a little on the weaker side but still convey the sweetness of the song well. The main vocalist, Kevin also sang this song in English as a solo. If you would like it ask. Download /

Greeeen - No More War Jpop | Japanese | 9/10 Comments: I like Greeeen because they have their own unique style. Off their latest album, No More War has quick rapping lyrics and then the chorus is very rock sounding. It's a good song for the road. Download /

Glay x Exile - SCREAM Jrock | Japanese | 9/10 Comments: This is the song that introduced me to both of these bands. In 2003, Glay collaborated with EXILE to create this awesome song. It's a fun collaboration. The "Everyone, everywhere, everytime SCREAM." is really fun and is easily stuck in our head. So enjoy! Download /
